Customize Your Education Experience at Creativation 2021

No matter how you prefer to learn, Creativation has you covered. Throughout the event, but primarily within the first two days — Thursday, January 14 and Friday, January 15 — industry leaders, educators and professionals lead hands-on learning experiences and discuss strategies, trends, and current economic influences within the creative industries.

When registration opens in Fall 2020, you will be able to browse the extensive list of education classes taking place at Creativation, register for specific workshops and the seminar program, and build a customized schedule.

Business Seminars and Hands-On Labs

AFCI Business Seminars provide focus on the craft/maker's needs as an owner, salesperson, and marketer. Topics may include topics that business owners need in today's landscape, such as eCommerce, staying relevant and adapting to changing consumer behaviors due to COVID-19.

Workshops

AFCI Workshops are project-based, hands-on learning opportunities for attendees to test suppliers' product lines and practice craft techniques. Workshops run between 90 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the length needed to complete the project. The types of projects span a multitude of crafting styles including, but not limited to: fine arts, food crafting/edible arts, home décor, jewelry making, mixed media, needlework, paper crafting, party/special occasion, scrapbooking, sewing/quilting/fabric arts, DIY, and more.

Roundtables

Creativation brings together a community of creative professionals like no other event can. Take advantage of the mindshare at this event by participating in one of the peer-led, facilitated discussions.

Innovation Talks

AFCI brings back the popular Industry Panel and expands on the concept with Innovation Talks. This series of short sessions on the Showfloor features influencers and industry leaders talking about the future of creative, trends to be aware of, and the risks of not embracing innovation in your business.

Learn from Exhibitors

Through demos at booths, engagement opportunities in the floor Pavilions, and interactive video trainings, there is no shortage of places to learn at Creativation while interacting with the partners you value.
